Orthodontics

We’re proud to offer Invisalign invisible orthodontics to our patients. Invisalign braces are made of clear material that can’t be seen when you’re smiling or talking around other people. Our patients love them, because they can benefit from a straighter smile with fewer appointments than people with traditional braces. Not only that, but the removable aligners are extremely comfortable and won’t cause tissue irritation.

Why Adults Make Great Invisalign Patients

We love helping adults achieve the straight smile they’ve always wanted. Invisalign is perfect because it doesn’t interfere with your appearance and is extremely comfortable to wear. Adults often use Invisalign to improve their oral health as well as the appearance of their smiles.

The Benefits of a Straigher Smile

Not only do straighter teeth look beautiful, they benefit your oral health! Teeth that are crowded and crooked are much more likely to have conditions like gum disease, tooth decay, and abnormal wear. By realigning your teeth properly, Invisalign helps patients get healthier smiles.

Caring for Invisalign

Invisalign aligners are removable, making them very easy to keep clean and practice regular oral hygiene. Just take your trays out to brush and floss as normal, then brush your aligner with water and a toothbrush. There are no food restrictions with Invisalign either, because they are taken out during meals.

What To Expect From Invisalign

Patients have fewer appointments with Invisalign than conventional braces. Each set of alignment trays is worn for about two weeks to guide the teeth into the desired position before being replaced with the next pair in the treatment series. There are no adjustments needed, so our dentists send a few sets of trays home at a time. Intermittent follow up visits at Grove Park Dental will make sure your treatment is progressing as it should, and more trays will be sent home with you. Most patients complete their Invisalign treatment within 12-24 months.
